Ms. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, who has worked in the nonprofit sector over the last 13 years. She was able to work with diverse populations, including LGBTQ+ and those with substance addiction issues. Since 2019, Ms. Rivas provides services to Erie residents. The current telehealth services for mental health are available. Ms. Rivas, who is part of the Behavioral Health Perinatal Team that assists post-partum and prenatal mothers, provides trauma-informed therapy for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma care. Also, she offers private and group therapy, treatment with medication, referral for specialty care as well as Women's support groups. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find homes. She's committed towards her commitment to the Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and is working hard to make Los Angeles into an animal-free city.
